HERMISTON, Ore. - Milton LeRoy Neddo, 90, Hermiston, Ore., a former Malta resident, died Tuesday, Feb.13, 2001, at Rose Arbor

Assisted Living Facility in Hermiston.

He was born May 13, 1910, in Providence, Utah, the son of Isaac James and Alice Osterhout Neddo.

He married Gladys Leona Smith on August 31, 1933, in Malta. Milton worked in construction building roads for ten years in Bonners Ferry, Las Vegas, and in Yellowstone Park. He returned to Malta where he operated a dairy farm for over 40 years. He had lived in Hermiston for the past five and a half years.

Milton was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.





He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially watching sporting events that involved his children. He loved spending time with his family and the families of his brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Hal LeRoy Neddo of Phoenix, Ariz., Daniel K. Neddo of Coulee Dam, Wash., and Nicholas J. Neddo of Hermiston; a brother, Charles Alvin Neddo of Malta; two sisters, Naomi Paskett of Malta, and Hope John of Blackfoot; and 16 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; a son, Keith Neddo; a granddaughter, Jennifer Neddo; two brothers, Melvin Neddo and Isaac James Neddo; and two sisters, Estella Hall and Melba Neddo.

The funeral will be held at noon Monday, Feb.19, 2001, at the Malta LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop's Counselor Brad Hutchison officiating. Burial will be in the Valley Vu Cemetery in Malta.

Friends may call at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Monday prior to the funeral.

Arrangements are under the direction of Payne Mortuary, 221 W. Main St. in Burley.
