Memorial service for Wilma Jean Teeter was Monday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Teeter, who was born in Malta, Idaho, died Tuesday. She was a resident of the Spokane Valley for 52 years.

She married Wade Teeter in 1948 and was a homemaker for several years.

She later co-owned a real estate business with her husband. Due to her husband's illness, they closed the company and Mrs. Teeter worked as an interior designer.

She enjoyed gardening, quilting and cooking.

Her husband died in 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Teeter of Spokane and Jeff Teeter of Hauser Lake, Idaho; two daughters,
Laurel Thorne and Janet Way of Spokane; three sisters, Sue Harms and Melba Van Wey, both of Spokane, and Saundra McCombs of Richland; nine brothers, Delbert, Parke, Brent, Paul and William Neddo, all of Kuna, Idaho, John, Griffin and Tom Neddo, all of Spokane, and Steven Neddo of Portland; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
